As everyone else! Do I have MS?
My symptoms are different, yet the same. Without going back I'll say what is happening now. I had this "attack" or "spell" several months ago. I always have lots of stress and I have delt with terrible anxiety for years. These things were caused by wayward children having my grandchildren. Anyway, I was not feeling anxious or anything but one morning I went to the store to get a few things. When I went through the line I could't figure out how to use my card. Even when the cashier explained. Then as I was coming home and waiting at the light I had this very weird feeling come over me like a wave. ALl of a sudden everything was moving except the inside of my car. I felt like I was going to pass out, or like an overwhelming sleepy feeling that I would fall over asleep but not wake up. I was less than a mile from home so I began praying to get home so as not to pass out on the road with my dogs. I made it home and the feelings intensified. I had this overwhelming feeling to cry, yet I knew it wasn't from fear or anything emotional. Then, a little later, I began to laugh at everything. I would go back and forth. I couldn't hold my glass of water and it fell to the floor. When I stood up it was more intense so it was hard to walk. I was thinking straight but my body was acting weird. I had the sense to get my insurance card and drivers license and medication list out if i passed out before I got to the hospital. To make a long story shorter, they didn't hook me up to see if anything was going on in my brain, yet I KNEW that's where it was and kept telling them. I had tingles in my hands and arms, then later it went through my legs and then it felt like waves going through my body, starting at my toes, then moving fluidly up to the scalp. I couldn't close my eyes, everything continued to move, yet it wasn't like vertigo as I have understood it before. They checked everything except my brain and sent me home with zanax and told me it was an anxiety attack. I know what anxiety is and there was no anxiety in my chest. It did subside after I took SEVERAL zanax but didn't go away for at least several days. TOday I am shaking all over. I mean everyday I am shaking. Sometimes it is mild, sometimes it is inside and outside quivers. I had an MRI and it did have spots like MS patients, but my neuro told me it wasn't anything out of the ordinary for someone my age, (60). I pass all of the test except being able to walk that straight line, and tipping over when asked to stand with eyes shut and arms out. Has anyone else had anything like this? does this sound like anything you have heard of? I go back next week. I also have had the fatigue for years, and feeling bad, also the brain fog and not being able to think of the words I want to use. But again, I have been told this is age.
THANK YOU!!!!
