My face is burning..

Hello I am a 42 year old women and I am seeking reasons why my face feels like I have a sun burn. I went to my family dr and there is no rash or reddness and not hot to the touch. Dr ordered a blood test to see about diabetes and then told me to wait and see if shingles develop. If blood is good and no shingles he is referring me to a neurologist. 6 years ago I had vertigo that lasted for about 6 weeks. I have noticed that I am getting that head buzzy feeling again at times, strange feeling. I also injured my foot last summer and it healed but my right leg is weaker. Example I have to pick up my leg to put on my pants in the morning. My leg seems to be okay during the day unless I have to pick it up and balence. The burning is bugging me. In fact all this is. I could just cry, I feel like I am loosing control over my body. There are other thinks too. Like stiff painfull back, neck and hands after rest. I just love looking at something and saying the wrong word. Like the dirty dishes are in the stove. I mean sink. Or telling my boys to put their clothes in the bathroom instead of bedroom.

Today I just want my face to stop burning.

Does any of this sound familiar?

I am not sure this is even a question for this group but has anyone had this burning feeling?

hi I usually ask people if their nutritional status is good.. so many physical and cognitive symptoms can be related to common nutrient imbalances.
ms has a constellation of typically low normal nutrients compared to high normal healthy controls. so, questions.. do you have any dietary preferences, what are your exercise habits like, do you take any meds or supplements?

Do you have any dietary preferences? I do not. I have protein for breakfast like egg and cheese stick, lunch is hummus and pita chips or tuna and dinner is a protein, veg and a whole grain. I drink water, tea Unsweetened and diet cokes up until a year ago I wrote down everything I ate and during the last year I stopped.

What are your exercise habits like? My leg is weak due to an injury to my foot so the last 6 months not much. PLus it is winter in Pa so we all sort of veg out

Do you take any meds or supplements? No to both

ok thanks for that info.

based on your typical food and fluids I would strongly suggest you get some nutrient tests done. if not through your doc them via a private lab. I can send you some links and LOTS of useful resources if you need! plus answer any questions you might come up with over time

can you tell me any more re what you eat in the way of fruits, veggies, nuts, seeds? I am looking for nutrient density and diversity.

good to know about the rest - simplifies the analysis! ;D
