ok more awesome info :D

so raw spinach leaves probably won't deliver the volume you need nutritionally. great stuff to eat, but a few raw leaves on a wrap are not going to be the same as 1-2c of boiled leaves.

good news re the infrequent bread! to clarify though, how often would you say you're eating wraps? or wheat products of any kind, not just bread but pasta, crackers, etc?

soup sounds delish :) i don't have a specific problem with sausage - was just looking for what could go in order to accommodate a fish purchase. but if tilapia is it, i don't even know if it's worth it. i'm not sure tilapia is very nutrient dense..

good to hear re beverage choices. carrot and celery snacks sound great.

re nuts, they'd be important sources of minerals. since you like peanut butter do you think you could mix it up by splurging on some alternative nut butters occasionally? like sunflower or pumpkinseed or cashew butter? or get someone to make some for you, if you know anyone with a vitamix?

also if you can get your hands on some flax seed, that can be ground up (we just use the coffee grinder at my house) and added unobtrusively to soups stews or similar.

if you can write out a typical day's food and fluids start to finish, we can look for possible strategies to optimize nutrient levels and minimize inflammation :)
