In case anyone is interested, this is the best website I've come across for analyzing foods as far as vitamins, minerals, omegas, fats, etc etc. Some very interesting data. Just type in ANY food at the top.

Food Information Sites

To start the list, here are my two favourite sites for detailed food information.

www.nutritiondata.com
"Nutrition Data's continuing goal is to provide the most accurate and comprehensive nutrition analysis available, and to make it accessible and understandable to all.
The information in Nutrition Data's database comes from the USDA's National Nutrient Database for Standard Reference and is supplemented by listings provided by restaurants and food manufacturers. The source for each individual food item is listed in the footnotes of that food's Nutrition Facts page."

the basic food search provides awesome detail. note especially the inflammation factor rating available for each food and the fact that there is a drop down menu for selecting serving sizes. individuals with inflammatory conditions should aim for a score of +200 each day.

i also enjoy the nutrient search tool:

*****
www.whfoods.com
"Our only purpose is to help you discover the many joys and benefits of healthy eating. We believe that the Foundation's independent perspective can help provide clear and easy-to-understand knowledge on how people of all ages and backgrounds can achieve and maintain their optimum physical, mental and emotional health and well-being."

worlds healthiest foods is a great site for sure, but the search function sucks. to save yourself time, you can use google instead, eg put this into a google search field:

spinach whfoods

and then you get pointed right to the relevant page of their site:
http://www.whfoods.com/genpage.php?tnam ... ce&dbid=43

enjoy!

You can limit your Google searches to a specific site by using the following syntax...

site:whfoods.com spinach
