Well, I learned my trick that helps.

Pressing with the cotton ball for 30 seconds after injection. No more gigantic bump afterwards!

Whole day? Ouch! I have never had that happen for that long personally.

I always make sure the area is super dry after the alcohol wipe too, that reduces the stinging a bit Smile
