Hi all,

I am visiting this excellent site for quite a while now and believe me it has helped us (me and my wife) a lot to plan our nexts steps. My wife (41 years old) exactly one year ago had a very aggressive attack and she was dx for RRMS. Our neuro (open minded enough), put her immediately on NOVANTRONE. She managed to recover close to 100% after 6 months. For the last 3 months she started Lipitor 10mg. Last week she had the 5th round. Our neuro proposed (after our objections to CRABs) to continue with Cellcept after a month's time (+ Lipitor 20mg). He has used Cellcept already in some other patients of his and he seemed very confident. He has also used Minocycline (after our reference as an alternative path of treatment), but only to patients with neuro-degeneration problems. Finally, he did not agree to vitamins, but he finally accepted a daily dose of a multivitamin supplement (with ephasis to D vitamin), taking into account the fact that there is some osteopenia in my wife.
We would appreciate any comment from the really very well informed visitors of this site.
Thank you in advance.
Keep safe.

Kostas

Kostas, I LIKE your wife's doctor. Glad to hear she's doing so well. It sounds like you've got a plan in place for that to continue.

Welcome kostas, thank you for sharing your story-- you have a lot of good information and experiences that I am sure would be of interest to others in our community.
