Ian,

After reading this article by Jeff Krasner (who has been following Tysabri for months and is certainly not a supporter of the drug) one soon realizes that the companies who make all these "approved" MS drugs have little interest in MS patients' health. It's all about the money....always has been and will continue to be. I said months ago that Biogen/Elan's competitors would launch a campaign to try and keep their market share and they certainly have done that! Throw in the backing of a giant like Pfizer and the possibilities are endless.

One can imagine what Tysabri's opponents are saying to the docs in the back rooms these days. Too bad that true MS research couldn't tap into the resources that are being spent in this marketing battle....perhaps we might see some real progress in the fight against this disease.
