Ha Nenu thanks, but the cameraa does lie - there are so few pics of me because most of the clothes I wear are ful of holes, clash horribly (so I am told - can't see it myself) and would look better on a homeless person, so no-one wants me in their pics. My son took those pics especilly for the thread, and you can only see my face, so you can't tell.
I seriously spend my life in frayed shorts (I have several pairs), t-shirts with holes in them because they are so old (I hate shopping) - I even go to the grocery store barefoot. I do not and have never owned an 'evening or cocktail' frock in my whole life, and that is just how I like it - I am very comfortable with myself - as are you! Good stuff Laughing
If I absolutely have to look respectable for church or a meeting at my kids school, I will put on a pair of jeans or cotton pants depending on the weather - and I may wear sandles (my hubby just bought me a pair of Crocs - dead flat sandles, not clogs, and they feel very steady to walk in and are comfortable, so I would probably wear those).

AWESOME!! Seriously, I like (and share) that attitude!

Personally? I think I worried so long about what people thought, that the raw nerve eventually burnt itself out and now I really could give a rip what people think.

Cure,

The Australian gal was from Sydney if I remember right, its been twenty-five years. But the sound of her voice is unforgettable.

Ally, I have heard the SA accent. When I go the the SA food store here the lady behind the counter speaks with a distinct accent. I have even heard Afrikaans spoke in there. Very Germanic sounding.

I am going to try and follow Bobs lead and post a video link. I just took this with my cell phone of all things. It only records for 15 seconds. It's not the best video picture but the sound seems ok. Unlike Bob, the recording stopped before I ran out of things to say. Ireally wish we could all get together some time like Arti said.

I just want to say that you talking with you guys really means a lot to me. If there is an upside to MS, it is knowing all of you.

Jack

You can tell from the bottom picture how dark Dalton is, but his little butt is as white as a ghost.

Beautiful wife and child Arti! Smile

Clashing is cool Ally! I'm a second hand store shopper myself. If the shoe fits... lol! Honestly, I just stick to white/black/gray/blue now, or I'd look like a clown I bet if I got into colors. I reserve my colors for my socks! Very Happy

Cool Jack! The video clip worked wonderfully! I so want to make one of those haha!

Ahh Ally, you reminded me of when I was 19/20, going down to the bay and sitting around the campfire listening to friends play songs on the guitar and singing along. What I wouldn't give for those days again! Things seem so much more mundane now since I got through University and work. :p

cure what's that show where that pair of ladies are always drinking in the casino while their kids are out in the car - some weird accents on that one.
I don't remember the name of the show, but if its the one I am thinking of (two women at a pokies machine), its a skit comedy show, and they would hardly be called ladies! Because its a comedy show, the accents were exaggerated, but you can see where they get it from.

GeoGuy, if she was from Sydney, chances are her accent was not that strong (compared to someone from the country)

I see what you mean Jack, it is pretty cool to actually see a movie of someone as opposed to a photo. I think the picture quality is plenty good enough with the phone video, but these computers at work don't have sound cards so hearing it will have to wait until I get home.

Bob

* Later edit. Worked awesome Jack. Sound came through just fine. Would a bigger memory card in your phone give you more time to talk??

Bob,

Now that you mention a bigger card, I have a cheap Polaroid digital 5mp that will shoot video. It has a 1 gig card. I just checked, that gives me about 45 minutes of recording time. Not to worry, I won't use it all for my next post.

Thanks for the inspiration.

Jack

Well, you could use the gig to recite "The Raven" in it's entirety. With my memory, that would take AT LEAST 45 minutes!

"Ah distinctly I remember.........." shoot!, what was it that we were we talking about??
