Found this group today.
Have had "possible MS" since 1969. Relapse and new tests 2004 with definite DX of MS. Was on Betaseron for almost 4 years. Really bad relapse in Dec. 2007. Changes to Copaxone and had a bad reaction on day 4 & 5 of it.
Was told to stop it. Then it took several months and new MS neuro specialist to get me started on Tysabri. Had my first infusion on April 16. That went well. I had an after effect of extreem moodiness for 2 days.
It is very expensive even with our co-pay insurance.

Have been fortunate to not have had major problems with MS until this last relapse. Am working hard to get some things back that were effected.

Hi artisanity and welcome to thisisms.

I hope that bout with moodiness will be the only problem you have with Tysabri and that it will work well for you until something better becomes available.

Hi Artisanity,
Welcome to the ThisIsMS community. Please review the forum's guidelines for using an avatar photo. They state that the image must not be more than 80 x 80 pixels.

"Avatar control panel
Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB."

Please resize your current avatar photo using image editing software or use a different photo which conforms to the above guidelines.

Thanks, NHE
