..the one and only Cyclops!
Hi everyone. I'm new. I chose the name Cyclops as that's how I feel right now. I was diagnosed 6 months ago after getting a dose of optic neuritis which still hasn't cleared up. I've been reading your posts and following your stories and felt it was about time I joined the club.

The eye patch thing brings back a wonderful memory for me. When my triplets were 3 years old we decided it was time to venture from the cry room at church and sit with the whole congregation. My smallest of the three was turned around looking toward the back of church and spied a man with an eye patch. She exclaimed at the top of her lungs, "Look Mommy a pirate!!! AAAARRRRGGGG!!! The stone walls echoed ferociously. Needless to say we went back to the cry room for another year before getting the courage to try again.
I'm sorry you find yourself here Cyclops. Knowledge, sympathy, empathy, and humor all make this site worth while. Welcome!!
