Dave

On your site you say:
Quote:
Furthermore, real life evidence supports the above research as real hope, since many people have recovered from MS by healing their gut.

If this is so then you should really name names and identify at least some of the many who have recovered. Or give references to the clinical trials that shows this to be so. Or tell us what the real life evidence is.

I have also seen that a large leafy salad and a cup of monkey spit a day will cure MS. Can't remember where I read it though. Razz Razz

Now you're just being silly, gwa! We all know you cure MS by juggling kittens while unicycling beneath a full moon and reciting 'Eskimo Nell' backwards. (Hint: if you can do this, you haven't got MS).

Dom.

thanks beat Smile i know i'm constantly battling the little buggers, haven't won yet and i went on a two-week course of diflucan at 100 dosage, no dice i'm still fighting the fight and losing. i was b12 deficient for years and now i've taken tons, my last level was 658!! where does it end? and the d3 is supposed to work to control them too, my last level was 112 down from 149 (i stopped taking 4000 per day) plus i've got a kicking probiotic (30 billion), and it's all failing. every time i think i've got it dealt with, my skin opens up again. my naturo is big on the leaky gut thing too but she thinks candida is a symptom of a problem not the root of it. i don't care if it's the chicken or the egg, i just want em under control!

How sad that ANYONE would scoff or ridicule anyone who has a different approach to MS! Shame on all of you!

And THANK YOU poster for sharing this valuable information. In my research travels, I have seen much information that links "Leaky gut" to MS. Very recent research showed that there are at least 3 bacteria in the gut that were they able to get into the blood stream would cause MS symptoms. (I know of 4 brothers-3 diabnosed with leaky gut which causes MS symptoms and only ONE diagnosed with MS!)

For those of you who put all of your faith in the current MS drug therapy--and ONLY that--you have my sincerest sympathies! This disease demands an open mind--always!

If I had MS and someone told me that baying at the moon everty third Thursday of the month at exactly 11:59 PM would help me, you can bet your ass you would find me baying at the moon every third Thursday at 11:59 PM exactly! I repeat--if it won't hurt you, what in the hell do any of you have to lose and you just "might" gain!

with all treatments that everyone and his brother has put out there for our poor souls one could try somthing new off and on for the rest of their lives. I think some get to tired to commit to these theripies, but i agree if you can try it, what have you got to loose, go for it, peace..

yep some are definitely tired of trying 'out there' ideas.

at the end of the day i think the references in beat's "book" are fine even if his "cover" is a little different from others here.

beat thinks yeast infection was/is a major part of his problem. why not? i know it's a facet of mine - along with subacute combined degeneration of the spinal cord (over a few years prior to attack), exposure to hepA virus (2 weeks before attack) and spinal trauma (one day before attack), various deficiencies, a wonky immune system... no worries though i am confident (so far) that i can turn all this around! Very Happy

others think bacteria are the problem. for those that it helps, it probably is! don't think i'll go on the antibacterial protocol myself, since the drugs apparently increase candida colonization which is the exact opposite of what i need to happen. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=12962365&dopt=Abstract

once again, different strokes for different ms folks. lifeboats don't help fish, bla bla bla.

It's fine to be "sick and tired" of all those other remedies. However, it is not fine to make fun of anyone who is genuinely sharing what they consider important information--ESPECIALLY those of you who have never tried an alternative treatment!

Now, I urge all of you to read a new post I am getting ready to make entitled "very interesting diagnosis". It actually came from a "real doctor"!

(No Jimmylegs..only those who made fun of this post were included in my admonishment. Just call me "Mother Superior"--LOL!)

I don't read up on much, but here is my stupid guess as far as the yeast is concerned. With MS, Devics, and other neuro stuff, the whole digestion system slows down leaving "stuff" in the bowels that the body is not built to handle for days at a time. With Gary, he eats fiber, takes stool softener, drinks much water, etc. but still has trouble. Gary's WHOLE digestive system is slow. There are times that he bloats, has no need to eat... That is when we know his stomach is not processing the food properly.
