My twin brother works for a BioTech firm and he gave me an insert to the journal called The Scientist, it is from the May 2007 issue. I strongly recommend that you get this if you can. It's called Autoimmunity--Diseases, Mecanisms, Therapies. It's packed full of great info. Maybe someone who is more skilled with the computer than I am can PM me and I would be glad to send it to you. If possible it would be great to share some of the info with the site.

Ditto.

On the one hand it shows how very multi-faceted / complex some of these diseases are but, on the other, the researcher are really making progress in understanding the various elements and identifying therapeutic targets etc

We encourage you to also visit our Multiple Sclerosis story and support community on Experience Project. Experience Project is a vast and powerful community where people connect anonymously through life experiences. It's made by the same people who built This is MS, on the premise that no one life experience-- like having MS-- defines a person. It now covers over 2 million life stories. Find and share yours!
