This quote is from Robby's post in the depression thread. As funny as it is, it is really an apt description of ED that affects us. At 32 years of age ED is especially frustrating for me. My wife and I are going to start trying for our 2nd child, and the idea scares me.

A little background, then my question (and if you are prudish and don't like frank discussions, well, sorry!)...

For about 1-2 years I have used Viagra to help me with ED. At first, it really worked great. The side effects really stink, but what guy is not willing to deal with a little stuffy nose and flushed cheeks? Lately, I still have trouble with ED even with Viagra. I know that part of it is in my head. I am so worried about ED that I think my attitude intervenes and that gives me further trouble with maintaining an erection.

So my question for you guys...do you use any medicine to help with intercourse? Do you still have trouble even with the medicine? Am I just a nutcase?

Well, I am not a man, but I have read "The Viagra Myth"...(I happen to know the doctor who wrote it), and apparently Viagra doesn't really help for those who have MS, so maybe you need something else now...he goes through all the options for men, using past cases to make it more interesting. It is VERY easy reading, so you might find it useful...maybe the library has a copy.

Eyedoc,

I sent you a PM, but it is still in my outbox 24 hours later. I have some tips in the message that I have used because I encountered some of the same issues. I'll try and get it unstuck.

I suggest you try the toy store - adult variety. They make nifty rings of all sorts that are meant to 'prolong & enhance' your performance. A better choice than any pill I should think, plus the 'toy' effect might just help you loosen up and relax a little more which will also help enhance your performance.
