I started Betaseron a month ago, and I feel sick all teh time. As my boyfrend put it, it seems like the syptoms from teh ms are going away yet I dont look like I am getting better.
you ever bump into something like a chair or table simply cause you didnt see it, well I did that and now i have instant bruise its not small either its welts out and is about 5 inches long by an inch but like i didnt hit the table that hard it was a small bump when I was tryign to get out of teh way of my boss.

see I have alot of this issue, I had a boo boo on my leg and it hasnt healed all teh way yet and it just is there for like 4 weeks now.

I am a good healer normally, and now I just keep having problem after problem, I dont understand if my immune system is in such over attack that is attackign me, why am I not healing? and why am I now so easy to hurt?

I suspect it's more likely your body's response to the interferon. Get your blood tested--which is probably recommended after starting Betaseron anyway. Interferons can reduce platelet levels, and increase propensity to bruise.

I have always bruised easily. My platelets have bounced around a lot on Rebif, and I do have some bruises that have never gone away (2+ years).

If I were you I'd see a doctor about that. You should probably have your Hepatic function checked ot make sure you liver is reacting ok to the betaseron.... Just my two cents....
