I having been getting hives for about a month now. I am going to see an alergy specialist next week. I wanted to know if anyone who has MS has gotten hive. I have changed nothing like meds, shampoo detergent, etc. They just come and go. Today one on my lip. Friday night my chin . Last week my left shoulder and both hips. Just out of the blue. It's really weird. If anyone has experienced this please let me know.

Thanks
HappyMom Very Happy

Yep, had them too. They would get quite large but not itchy. Didn't change anything that I could attribute it to. Never did find out what caused them. They just went away. Was on all of the antihistamines and none seemed to help much. Good luck!

BTW, I finally decided it was hormonally related. Had a hysterectomy (not because of hives!) and the hives never came back. The body is such an interesting thing!

Loriyas

I was so supposed to see an allergist next week. But I had another bad attack late yesterday so they are seeing me tonight. I don't know if the hormons would play a part I had a hysterectomy in 1999 because of cysts problems but I am on premarin. Who knows? Hopefully I may get some info tonight. Thanks for letting me know.
