Ally,

Great pics! Birds are really my first hobby, ever since I was a kid, but I really like the zebra picture. He looks like he could talk.

Here are some pics of birds that hang out in my back yard.

Carolina Wren

[/img]
Blue Jay

male Red-bellied Woodpecker

[/img]
male Cardinal - you have Bishops, we have Cardinals. Mourning Dove in the lower left corner.

Robin - mommy feeding her baby an earthworm

and finally

[/img]Passion Flower - named by the Spanish Explorers of Florida in the 1500's for the five stations of the cross. One of my favorite wildflowers here in the Southeast.

I have always found the natural world to be an escape from my troubles. Being able to sit in my back yard and see such beautiful birds and flowers takes my mind off MS. Get out and enjoy the world around you! It's not that far away.

Nenu,

I also like that picture of you. I hope you are as happy now as you look in that picture.

Hey Lew - I remember seeing this pic of you and your family before somewhere too, but I am glad you put it where we all know it is (hope that makes sense). You have a lovely family - your wife is very pretty and looks so kind and your daughter is just so sweet. You look like a nide gut too - as we all know you are!

Nenu - you look great in that pic - love your hair (I am jealous!) and your smile - hope you are smiling again after your move. Moving house is just so stressful - I wish you luck.

Jack - as you can see by my pics, I totally relate to what you are saying. I think we are of the same mind - I have a half acre plot with many mature trees - avocados, paw-paws, mangoes etc (attract the birds) and a hammock - so I spend many sunny winter days out there just chilling.
Your cardinal is a beauty and the pic of the robin feeding her baby - wow! You are more than just a happy snapper like me - your observation skills are great. Fantastic - thanks for sharing them with us.

Love everyone's pics - think we need more from Robbie, though - haven't seen anything in a while - oh & Bob, Gwa - no pressure to post pics of yourselves, but maybe some of your scenary etc? Now that I think of it, there are many friends who I would love to see a slice of their lives...

Thank you for the kind words. I was busy cleaning today, and realized that I can't do what I could before. I'm going to have to get a moving company to come and do the moving for me. There's no way at this time of the year with the heat and humidity starting up that I can manage to move up and down stairs. Hopefully I can find one easily and they're not all booked.

My hair's not as 'healthy' as it once was. I think the stressful period did damage to it or something. It got kinda brittle and dull. I'm hoping that slowly it regains it's former state Smile

awright here is Dalton our son again w/ Elvis our little half jack russell/weiner dog that we rescued from the pound.

OK if you reduce the size of your pictures to 650 megapixels it will keep them within the limits of most peoples screen except nenu who has a bigscreen tv for a monitor. LOL just kidding nenu.

Allright here is my fishing report. Got up early to go fishing with an old friend of mine. Not really a friend more like a second father figure. Anyhow got to Sabine lake at around 6:00 am the wind was fairly calm. We headed out to Cow Bayou. Only about a 20 minute boat ride from the ramp. Long story short I caught several Redfish and my buddy Jerry caught Two nice Flounder around 16" and 20". My largest redfish went 30" Here is a picture from a video that was taken this morning of me catching the fish. Sorry the quality is poor. Shannon

The Redfish was over the slot limit, which means these fish have to be within 20" to 28" nothing bigger nothing smaller, so I gave him a kiss and set him free for someone else to enjoy catching later.

Fish looks great though, but you not only don't have any eyes, you don't have a face either! Could pass you in the street (unlikely I know, given our geographical locations) and I wouldn't know you....Lools like you had lots of fun though.
