This isn't me but is one of the reasons that I haven't been around much in the last month. this my cat Chicken. She fell out of our living room window (3rd floor flat) and broke both her front legs - I've been doing countless trips to vets etc but she's on the mend now.

This is her relaxing in my bed! (i have no kids so you'll have to tolerate cats instead!)

Hey Mrs. G

Glad to have you back! Your cat is lovely - I have sone myself - and it must have upset you a great deal to see her hurting. It is like having kids - you want to make it better for them. She is looking ok though, so you have obviously given her the best care - kudos to you for that.

Chicken may be a misnomer. She sounds pretty brave. I have cats myself (more at the girlfriends insistance than my desire, but , you love them anyway. The cats I mean.) No kids either Mrs G.

How is she tolerating the lampshade?

Excellant picture of a Black-crowned Night Heron. Don't you guys eat what it's carrying in its bill?

She was ok with it but her sister Dave hated it - Dave kept walking up to her and hissing in her face! It came off a few days ago - along with her last 2 stitches! Despite the collar my very clever beast managed to remove 14 of her 16 stitches!!!!

Hey Shannon

As I said, typical Irish colouring and face - pasty skin, carrot red hair - tried blond once, what a disaster - Casper the friendly ghost had nothing on me! So decided to keep what nature gave me (at least a little colour) and just live with it - how's that for middle-aged wisdom?
Still wish I was 28 again though, Greta is lovely.

I will be happy to be your lucky charm - how's the treatment going?
Hope you are doing better, and getting some sleep...

Ally,

Hubby is a lucky guy to have such a beautiful wife, not to mention sweet. I think I saw a picture of you with blonde hair on here somewhere. I prefer your natural color.

Jack.

Aw shucks guys - thanks for the kind words. These pics were taken just about a week ago (maybe less) by my eldest boy (he is 7) and it's funny, but I had to take a deep breath before I posted them...They show me wearing very little make-up in all my 40 year old glory, and at rather close range - he didn't give me time to get 'dolled-up' and i don't think he really knew how to operate the zoom lens!

Yeah, I did get blond high-lights for a while, but I haven't coloured my hair for a couple years now - hated the red for a long time (horrible growing up with that hair - you can't hide or blend in)! But in the end, it is easier just to let it be...
And now you can put a (goofy) face to all these rambling posts that keep appearing in the forum!

At last! I've done it! I've spotted the one common factor shared by everyone who has MS… It only ever happens to attractive, good looking and downright gorgeous people!
(…which also explains why Bob will never, ever get it). Now, where shall I put that Nobel prize?

Hey Dom

Glad to be any club you belong to! Especially that one with good-looking folks in it - there has to be something good in all this ms business....
Never seen a pic of Bob (wonder what he has to hide?), so can't comment....
