EP is a community where members connect through shared life experiences-- like MS--and so much more. You are not defined by any one thing, so be your true self and find others just like you at
Experience Project.

Monday, the nurse dropped by to teach me how to give myself the Avenox injections. We practice the "dart", "anchor", "inject", "pull out", and "press with sterile swab". After practicing with an orange a few times, I decided I was ready. I sat calmly and started to "dart", "anchor", "pull out", and "press with sterile swab" saying the steps as I went along. Nurse said I did a great job the first time but forgot one minor thing... inject. "DoH!!!!!!!!!!" As I did the procedure over again, I was thinking that I won't forget that step again.
