I was diagnosed in 2004
I have had 2 MRI's taken.
Since my first MRI ... n/a
I am currently taking Rebif

First MRI was just of my head, it showed approximately 20 lesions. Second MRI was of my neck (less thna a month later) and it showed two large active lesions. Those were both used for diagnosis. I'm not sure what you mean by 'lesion load'.

I was diagnosed in 2003

I have had 3 MRI's taken.

Since my first MRI, each one has shown a big decrease in lesion load, with no new lesions and no active ones. Some smaller ones on the outer edge of the brain have disappeared completely.

I am currently taking antibiotics for C Pn.

I had numerous large lesions in the head, nowhere else, and was considered untreatable by the Addenbrookes based neurologist.

Sarah.

I was diagnosed in August, 2003

I have had 9 MRI's taken. -As part of the clinical trial I'm enrolled in I had an option to have monthly MRI's for the first 6 months.

Since my first MRI, each has shown a(n) increase/decrease in lesion load. -Significant decrease. For the MRI which diagnosed me the radiologist didn't even bother counting the lesions, just noted that they were numorous as there were so many Shocked which was a tad frightening for someone freshly diagnosed. Since my initial dose with Campath in October of '03 all lesions have become inactive as shown on MRI, and some of the smaller ones have disappeared altogether.

I took Campath for 1.5 years; I am currently taking Campath. -Trial is still in progress.

I have had 3 MRI's taken.

I am currently taking nothing.

I had 2 MRIs when I was dx, one of my head the other my spine. I was having a major flare up at the time - no feeling in my entire body and I could not move my left leg. MRIs showed numerous brain lesions and 2 lesions on my spine. I was given 40 mg intravenous dexamethasone for 3 days. In 3 weeks I made a good recovery. My follow up MRI taken Dec 15 2004 (head only) showed everything stable. I still have some mild reduction in feeling.

My first big attack was in 1991.
I was officially diagnosed in Aug, 2003.
I have had 1 brain MRI and it showed 2 lesions. (I think most of my lesions are in my spine).
Since my MRI (2003), I have had no additional disability.
I took nothing for 14 yrs, and LDN since May/05.

I was diagnosed in April, 2002.
I have had 3 MRI's taken, all of Brain + C-Spine.
Since my first MRI, each has shown an increase in lesion load - From 4 Brain lesions on original MRI to 6 Brain lesions on second MRI 2 years later. Most recent MRI shows NO new lesions (hooray!) but one has grown in diameter. None have ever enhanced with Gad dye.
I took Rebif for 1.5 years; Then I got pregnant and had a baby.
I am currently taking Betaseron.

I was diagnosed in July 2004

I have had 4 MRIs. 2 were pre-dx.

The last one- about 6 months into antibiotics- was "no worse" The first 3 were each worse than the 1 previous.

I have been taking Avonex exactly 1 year (I am PP) and David Wheldon's regimen since late Sept 2004. I have had 2 courses of Solumedrol.

I don't know and can't find (but have seen!) cut and paste. Please use my information as it may be helpful. Interesting poll.

Dx 1997
4 MRI's
"Evolution but not progression" (some new lesions come, some old ones go)

Most of my problems are spinal cord related. I've only had one MRI that included the spine, and I moved alot so the films weren't clear.
