As some of you might recall, I've been on LDN for 3 months and am doing BRILLIANTLY well! No problems at all, and all the usual improvements; LDN has been a Godsend! And of course I certainly wouldn't want to contemplate my future without it.

But unfortunately my nervous family doc says I must find someone ELSE to prescribe it for me ASAP. (Long story involving liability paranoia about losing her license over some potential future fictional disaster related to "prescribing something that far off-label"..... ) Rolling Eyes

I'm trying to just be grateful that my timid, absolutely no-risk-taking doc initially agreed to let me try LDN in the first place. But in truth I'm devastated.

I have enough for the next two months.

Can anyone possibly help with the name of a doc who still does prescribe LDN? I've seen that old list of physicians who prescribed LDN, but I've heard that it's obsolete because all of those docs stopped doing phone consultations.

BTW, I live in Austin, Texas.

Thanks!

I do have some leads for docs in Texas. Just e-mail me at wkendz32@hotmail.com and I'll try to help you best I can. There is no good reason for your doc to be such a wimp. I say fire her...lol. Joyce

If you will pm me, I will give you info on an inexpensive phone consult. I am hesitant to post info on the boards anymore, since there seems to be a question as to what happened with Dr. Scott.

Our new neuro agreed to prescribe for Colby, so we are definitely getting somewhere with all of this.
