I have been on Rebif for about a month and a half now. I am getting swelling in the lymph nodes and around the front of the ear on the edge of the face. Slightly sore. Is this a common side effect with Rebif?

| Never heard of this...is this still happening? Just wondering if you were getting an infection at the time and maybe it was coincidental? We are always quick to blame our MS or Medication for anything going on....sometimes its unrelated. Keep me posted. |

| I also have some soreness and swelling at my jawline. I just started Rebif two weeks ago. |

This was one of the reasons I came off Rebif... swelling along my jawline. The doctor kept trying to convince me that it was not the Rebif... but after speaking with another MSer and reading over my journals (I keep this really nerdy medical journals in order to be sure I can remember dates and reactions to new drugs) I found that it was a certain link.

Well, the swelling bit went away, and so did the humongous amount of lesions in my MRI. I just had a six months check. I had over 20 lesions in awful places and they have retreated. I think its worth working thru the side effects. I am walking, talking, and swallowing OK now. Before I had lost all that inside of a month. It kept blooming out till I got put on Rebif.
