8/26/05 Wow its been a long time since I wrote in my journal. I went to the neuro for my 1 year check up. OF course being in the study has it's ups and downs. It was a long day of testing, labwork and MRI. It seems there is an up and down pattern to my phosphate level. My MRI's were clear. No new lessioins to report. I mentioned to the doctor that I have been experiencing what he called anxiety. Trouble concentrating, not sleeping well. getting a lot of shit from my supervisor. He suggested that I try an anti-depressant. They said that I have a lot of backround noise in my head and it's distracting me..makes sense to me I guess. I havn't filled it yet though. I am a little leary about taking it. He said that 90% of ms'ers have anxiety, depression or both. GO figure. I have had a lot of stuff going on so I guess it's safe to say that I am anxious. Physically I feel great though. MS is in a good place right now. Next Dr. Appt is 12/16 but I am sure I will write before then.
