take control of your own health
pursue optimal self care at least as actively as a diagnosis
ask for referrals to preventive health care specialists eg dietitians
don't let suboptimal self care muddy any underlying diagnostic picture!

related griping - http://www.thisisms.com/forum/natural-a ... ml#p250160
these researchers observed a less than 1 in 20 chance of a healthy control having serum mag levels as low as an ms patient. that means their p was <0.05.
hypothesis supported. no scientific horror story (that's reserved for the patients)
