Re: Stem Cell Treatment Testimonials

slov - you should delete your post about Dr Burt. A women did develop an infection and unfortunately passed away due to septicaemia in India under the care of Dr Amit. RIP Several people have gone thru HSCT with Dr Amit and are doing fine today. Every type of treatment or operation has their risks w...

Re: Stem Cell Treatment Testimonials

Good luck really really. But in my opinion chemotherapy treatments are for cancer. These HSCT treatments have been going on in different parts of the world for years. My neuro told my the disease can still come back and some patients have died due to this treatment. Don't listen to your neuro when ...

Re: Cpoaxone and swollen lymph nodes

I have switched to every other day...or so. I usually inject 5 days a week and that has helped me personally. It also makes a big difference if I have any 'trauma' during the injection. Sometimes it will hurt a little or I'll have some blood and if that happens I will usually feel some swelling in m...

Re: every other day

Sophie - how do you feel clinically? I stopped getting mri's as my last one was depressing yet I did not feel any worse clinically. I think lesions will come an go and as long as you feel ok then that's all that matters. At the point I begin to slide clinically is when I will pursue HSCT. There has ...

every other day

I've been on the eod plan for ten months now with no relapses. I went this route due to swollen lymph nodes. The past few months I've increased to both weekend days and eod mid-week. Sometimes this disease just makes me wonder that when the time is right it will just rear its ugly head just as it hi...

Re: Swollen painful glands anyone?

Lymphadenopathy is a side effect of Copaxone. Personally, I'd rather not take minocycline as I don't believe this to be an infection, but more an effect from introducing Copaxone to your system. I am now off Copaxone.

Re: Swollen painful glands anyone?

trying to find the bottom line on this issue but I have yet to read a definitive report as to exactly what the long term prognosis is if one continues on with the lymph nodes being swollen.

Re: Copaxone and Cancer?

I just discovered that I have Lymphadenopathy now that I've been taking Copaxone since June. I trying to make sense of exactly what is going on, but I'm still quite lost reading the studies. I cannot imagine it is a good thing.

Re: Why not butt area for injection?

it seems like most people do inject in their butt area. if you look closely at the chart it shows the butt area...at least that is how i look at it. it's kind of vague imo...below the waist is the verbiage states and that is a little different for everyone. most of the upper area of that zone would ...

Re: 2 months on Copaxone

seems like you could develop and allergy to copaxone over time, right? i have no idea, but my wife became allergic to shellfish in her twenties...she had eaten it her entire life up until that point. LDN is Low Dose Naltrexone. the whole thing is overwhelming when you are first diagnosed. it's overw...

Re: Cannabis

I was wondering..does anyone think smoking cannabis can actually make your MS worse? I don't think it will make your 'MS' worse, but maybe it will make you feel worse. If it provides some relief then i would do it. If it doesn't, then i wouldn't. I personally don't worry about it. I smoke an incred...

Re: ON recovery, how long did it take you?

mine became better over the course of 4-6weeks. i had it in one eye and they termed it double vision, although i never saw two of anything. if i closed the one eye it was fine. it has only occurred once for me. don't beat yourself up about the avonex. it may not be connected at all and i'm assuming ...

Re: Coverage for Copaxone

NHE- thanks for the info. honestly though, i cannot read those as my stress level doesn't need to get any higher due to my MS! it's good to see that their patent is expiring, hopefully this will be available to those who want it. we always have whole foods, supplements, exercise, and a positive atti...
