I had an exacerbation a couple of years ago that lasted 2 weeks and it was bad. From walking normally, within one week I was debilitated to the point that I could not mov...

Coffee and going to the loo
Will a cup of coffee make you want to go to the loo after you've drank the coffee, or will it make you go to the loo several times during the day after the one coffee?

Travel plans and an unexpected flare
I'm seeking some answers to a particular question and am wondering if you would provide your input. It hypothetical, but it serves to know what people would do in case this came up for anyone. The scenario is the following: you were fine, fit and healthy (but you're RRMS and were in remission), then...

Is anyone here from a third-world country?
I'm wondering if there are any others from a third-world country (I'm from West Africa), and I'd like to know your experiences with regards to treatments, access to doctors, doctors advice, social issues and stigma, and anything else that you face that gives you relief or brings you difficulty. If y...

Harry - I'm so sorry for the loss of your wife. To think that she was among the first, rather she Was the first, of a new study is not only commendable but really and sincerely - hats off. I agree with what you and Moom say - its money in the bank for the Big Pharma companies. Its one of my solid be...

A thought about MS research
Whenever I read up on studies and research conducted on MS, I read things like "in a study of 51 patients"..."in a study conducted between 171 males and 191 females with MS"..."in a recent study involving 100 MS patients"....... Why cant more research be done involving ...

Is this a symptom of MS?
Can anyone shed some light on this, or whether you have experience this before. I'm RRMS - about 7 years since dx, but what I want to explain refers to when I'm pretty much symptom-free When I am sitting or lying down, I feel ok , as in there's no spasticity. But when I stand up, my legs (around the...

IVSM working or not?
I've started a 5-day course of IVSM yesterday so today is day 2. I've had this done 7 yrs ago but I can't remember how long it took for it to take effect, though I know its not immediate.
At what point should I conclude that this med is not working?
Ps - I'm doing the IV at home thru a caregiver.
