Tongue fasciculations???!
After a few weeks of off and on feeling almost like my tongue is numb, or I'm talking with something in my mouth, I checked my tongue to see if I was having an allergy and it may be swollen, I noticed it was twitching all over the place... Went the my GP yesterday and he said it was indeed tongue fa...

Question about fatigue and brain fog..
just a quick question about fatigue and brain fog, does yours come on suddenly and just hit you like a brick wall? at different times of the day? not just fatigue but paired with really bad brain fog, like I almost feel drunk.

Re: Quick question, your spasticity, what does it feel like?
This post is only to see what others experience with this, noting to do with diagnosing or treating my problems. Though thank you for your info.
So, if anyone would be kind enough to share their experience with this it'd be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Confused about gabapentin...
I take it for nerve pain. It only is for nerve pain and works similar to Lyrica. If you do not have nerve pain then why are you taking it?. It does have side effects. That is my question... it seems to stop my feet buzzing, but I'd rather have buzzing feet then be even more tired and foggy.... I ju...

Confused about gabapentin...
so, I understand that gabapentin is used in nerve pain for ms. what I'm wondering is about the other uses besides pain. my neurologist just decided to try it, the first medication I've been on for my symptoms, and I've got twitching, tremors and tingling and numbness ect. but no pain. so my question...

Re: reading lab reports
do you or have you taken prednisone recently? if you're concerned about the values, you can talk to your doctor and see if you could possibly start taking sam-e, it's a supplement that's really good for the liver

Re: gabapentin
I'm in the same boat as you, I am undiagnosed, But have a lot of MS symptoms, and my neurologist started me on gabapentin and I have no pain at all, I know it's also good for some other things but I don't know if it's really worth me taking it?? Re: Question to those with confirmed ms.... negative tests??
Chill out honey certainly, MRI/CSF/SSEPs/VEPs/BAERs are not 100% accurate, but it's better to have non-specific unexplained symptoms than multiple sclerosis. Doctors cannot explain every symptom you have. They are not gods. My advice: 1) keep a healthy diet 2) exercise regularly 3) get a good night...

Question to those with confirmed ms.... negative tests??
Hey, I'm just trying to find some info on this... I know 5% of people who have ms have a negative mri, but I just wanted a little more info... Are there any of you whose first tests were negative? I've had an mri brain(one lesion probably age related) and cervical spine (normal). And just had a emg ...

Buzzing/Paresthesia
Yay for my newest symptom to creep up on me... Anybody have any suggestions on what I can do to help my it more tolerable, or less bother some? (The buzzing started on the top right of my left foot, then moved to left side and under my foot, now it's under my knee, and occasionally when I'm walking,...

Should I just give up?
I've been to a few doctors, they have mostly just passed me around to other doctors... I saw one Nero who basically didn't want anything to do with me because I didn't have insurence, said "we've got everything charted", and sent me out the door. I then talked to the nurse and she basicall...
