Re: Facial Numb feeling + Symptom History?

Well im getting my TSH checked again (since it was high) so that'll be something I can also get checked. Im just trying to get some reassurance that it doesnt' "sound" like MS......since this past 2 weeks has been driving me crazy. Although from everything im reading about "numbness&q...

Re: Facial Numb feeling + Symptom History?

It's very possible I have some deficiency. Im more just anxious about this face thing. Does any of what I describe really sound like MS? this doesn't even really seem like "numbness" it more seems like some sort of Dysesthesia or something.....but thats really the only "new" symp...

Re: Facial Numb feeling + Symptom History?

I guess the facial feeling is the most worrysome. And the MRI was from 6-7 years ago I haven't had one currently. But I really don't have ANY symptoms besides this face feeling (like a cloth is over my face). I know "facial numbness" is one of the most common first symptoms according to th...

Facial Numb feeling + Symptom History?

So I have a quick question about numbness and my face has been doing some stuff that's got me worried. Basically (since 2 weeks ago almost) I started to feel a weird sensation on my left cheek/under my left eye. I thought it was sinuses (as that day I was getting outdoor allergies really bad) but it...

Re: Question about MS Symptoms: Specifically Numbness

BFS = Benign Fasculation Syndrome.

And thanks, I didn't think it was necessarily MS but it still worries me. I think my legs I feel it a lot partly due to sitting so much (Im a Softrware Developer). So im sure my circulation isn't fantastic.

Question about MS Symptoms: Specifically Numbness

Now i've had MRI's in the long past, but I seem to get numbness in my limbs especially when sitting or compression: Noones suspected MS, but this is more of a question of symptoms. Specifically with any type of neurpathy (Such as numbness). With MS: Would the numbness be constant? I mean it's from a...

BFS or MS? A bit worried, + Symptom History

Hi All, So i've been dealing with weird symptoms for....a good 6-7 years at least. For reference my original symptoms really started about 6-7 years ago. But my symptoms are pretty much always the same (I don't really have any "newer" symptoms or ever had any. My original symptom really wa...

Re: MRI is Normal....can I stop worrying now?

Well my Neuro never thought it was MS.....since I don't really have any "weakness" or numbness. Just the tremors, which I know are due to lesions on the cerebellum (which would've shown on the brain scan). The only thing I have is soreness. but having the MRI still helped relieve a bit of ...

Yeah thats probably a good idea Mark!. What does your Spasticity feel like? or were you saying those were your MS symptoms and not Spinal Symptoms.

Re: MRI is Normal....can I stop worrying now?

Just brain, but they only basically did it just for my worries. They didn't seem to think it was MS in the beginning. since my only symptoms were Finger Tremors (only in certain positions) and Sore legs (but I have trouble sleeping, and probably have restless leg syndrome). Otherwise.....no weakness...

Re: MS Symptoms?

From what I understand isn't the numbness/tingling usually like "constant"-ish with MS? (since it's not like the lesion comes and goes that fast). I could be wrong tho...

Re: Thumb/Finger Twitching?

You said you felt numbess? I don't feel that (unless im laying down...which seems to cause my arms/legs to feel numb.....but soon as a stand back up I feel fine. I have alot of back problems maybe I have some sort of pinched nerve).

Did you experience any fatigue FJhawk?

Re: Thumb/Finger Twitching?

Talked to Neuro....he seemed to think the chance of it being MS is highly unlikely, regardless im having a scan wed.
