Re: stem cell transplants show promise for ms
see the CCSVI board. I am sure many of the people there know how to answer your question. I asked the following question of Dr. dregen who uses stem cell therapy to improve outcomes for angioplasty in CCSVI treatment. As you can see I was wondering if stem cell therapy without angioplasty could help...

Re: Annette Funicello: Her life with multiple sclerosis
All the research money wasted on CCSVI that could have been put towards promising treatments over the last three years frustrates me. It is kind of like looking for the elusive sasquatch. While some claim to have seen it clearly the pictures they present are always blurry and most of us do not even ...

Re: Hope for people with SPMS???? Finally?????
Thanks for clarifying for everyone. Tovaxin(Tcelna) once again takes a step forward but one has to wonder how long before it takes its historical two steps back! Interesting though.

What about the name Ginkgo Biloba makes me think of The Lord of the Ring trilogy?

Hope for people with SPMS???? Finally?????
In multiple previously conducted clinical trials for the treatment of patients with MS, Tcelna has demonstrated one of the safest side effect profiles of any marketed or development-stage MS therapy, as well as encouraging efficacy signals indicating Opexa’s therapy may have the potential to be bot...

another ccsvi study finds no link
In the latest study, published Tuesday in the journal Radiology, researchers in Italy used MRI scans to look at the neck veins of MS patients. Researchers found the presence of abnormal neck veins in 25 out of 39 MS patients and 14 out of 26 healthy volunteers. After measuring the brain blood flow,...

Re: CCSVI RESEARCH here
From the beginning of the CCSVI internet craze I have tried to point out that between the placebo effect and the natural course of MS it is very hard to make the claim that any specific treatment for MS is effective in the first year or two which is why long term studies are criitcal to finding out ...

Re: Treat CCSVI with neck massage.
Hey Vesta there is a CCSVI section on TIMS where you may find some support for your massage theory so you might want to move your thread into that forum. If not beware of the CCSVI skeptics for they are quite an ornery bunch!
