He also takes 10000iu of Vitamin D3 (Healthy Origins) Omega 3 E...

Re: comunication problems with dr's
Have you had a lumbar puncture, repeated MRI? To be honest I would ask to see a different doctor. When my husband took ill, very sudden onset (similar symptoms to yourself) our doctor seemed unconcerned, suggested it could be viral. I was having none of it, I had already done quite a bit of studies ...

Re: Leaky Gut
This may be a really basic question, but I don't know the answer!! Should my husband have a leaky gut and toxins pass through into the BBB system, then he repairs the permeability of the gut wall with probiotics, zinc and Vit.D3. What happens to the toxins that are now trapped in the CNS via the BBB?

Re: Leaky Gut
Zinc and Vitamin D seem to be synergistic and one helps the function of the other. We often hear stories of those living in the far north having limited vitamin D due to lack of sunlight, however the zinc part is very much played down. My husband an April birthday, brought up in the far north of Sco...

Re: Leaky Gut
Sorry to hear about all your problems 'Point North'. To understand my husbands 'leaky gut' I envisaged it as pouring water into a bucket with holes. All vitamins and minerals would not be probably absorbed, therefore deficiencies would occur. Foods would not be properly digested, pass through the wa...

Re: Leaky Gut
For now the high dose probiotics bought online from a company called 'Neways' seemed to be doing the trick. My husband has also been attending the HBO unit and after the first visit we have all noticed a difference, his eyesight, balance and bladder have all improved. My husband was diagnosed last S...

Leaky Gut
My husband has had problems with bowel urgency for around 15 years. Onset probably occurred after a visit to a zoo, which resulted in severe sickness and diahorrea. Typical man never admitted that there was a problem. 15 years later he has now MS, in our quest for answers we have tried various diffe...

Re: When do you need steroid treatment?
The hospital near us holds a relapse clinic every Friday, run by the MS nurse. Might be worth finding out if there's a similar set up near you. My husband has responded well when he has taken steroids.
