Re: Two Months Post (eght weeks) Hernandez Jugular Bi-Pass

It was my GP who ordered the MRI. He is 100% on board with the surgery I had. Everytime he sees me he is amazed at the improvements and how much it has changed my life. I have seen alot of the GP as he is documenting all of the changes since the surgery. This doctor I have been with for the last 22 ...

TIME TO CELEBRATE JUGULAR VEIN RECONSTRUCTION "6 MONTHS" PO

Today is my six-month anniversary of the surgery that gave me back the blood flow that my body so desperately needed. I am very fortunate to have the experience of getting back sensations in my body. I now can now go for walks, run and still carry out a full conversation with my family in the evenin...

UPDATE ON OPEN IJV RECON.- NO MOUNTAIN TOO BIG TO CLIMB

I have been trying to keep all people up to date as I am able to achieve more and more post open internal jugular vein reconstruction. On August 10th, 2012 I was able to undertake (me) driving a vechile back from Vancouver BC to Edmonton Alberta. This is about a 13 hour drive through the Rocky Mount...

HEALING CONTINUES AFTER OPEN JUGULAR VEIN RECONSTRUCTION

I had my first Open INTERNAL JUGULAR VEIN RECONSTRUCTION on my left side after it was determined that the vein had restenosised and could no longer be angioed. This was the start of a journey that changed my life. Thanks to Dr.Hernandez, and his team of doctors I was given the opportunity to partake...

Re: excel hospital's twitter saying their surgery is permane

This is totally not the case and being the first patient for this procedure I am totally aware of what the surgery was all about. They are fixing the blood flow issue not saying anything about a permanent fix for ms. Cece why don't you pick on other places that have done stents and are now out of bu...

Re: Two Months Post (eght weeks) Hernandez Jugular Bi-Pass

CECE this is not true I had a vein patch in January on the other side, that side was tested and is has paton which means its working great. The graft is over the five month mark. I guess I am the first in so many ways! Again this could be that I was fortunate enough not to have severe damage to my v...

Two Months Post (eght weeks) Hernandez Jugular Bi-Pass

On April 10th, I had the Hernandez Jugular Bi-Pass. I am doing amazingly well. Every day I recognize an ablility that was lost is now found. An example would be chasing after my dog when it got out of the yard. She is a collie -husky cross, a good size and a fast runner. Yes I was able to catch her ...

Re: HERE I GO AGAIN

I don't know how this person is doing but once again I think we of the non-medical profession should stop trying to explain surgeries and procedures in medical terms. It is giving out the wrong information and might get in the hands of some not so great doctors. Dr. Hernandez will be the one to pres...

Re: HERE I GO AGAIN

I had this same surgery done by Dr. Hernandez and it is working great! I was one of the lucky ones who did NOT have many therapeutic CCSVI angioplasty's done and my internal jugulars were not completely destroyed and scared. Dr. Hernandez had something to work with in surgery to help me.

21 DAYS POST HERNANDES JUGULAR BIPASS

Just a quick up date. Today is exactly twenty days since I had the bypass by Dr. Hernandez . I feel like I am still living the dream. Everything is back to where it was many years ago. No MS symptoms and I am right on the mark with no brain fogging. The ability to be in control of ones own body is s...

Re: Stent fears inhibit good care sometimes

Hello Dr S, My thought on risks of stents is that the risks are different above and below the heart (effect of gravity). Explaining this to patients may help. Kind regards, MarkW I was told the same thing and was lucky enough after the second time of having ccsvi went for the third time and was luc...
