Plegridy is a good option especially for those that have have trouble with the intramuscular injections. I read that it is, like Avonex, interferon beta-1a, but only taken every other week and is a subcutaneous injection. Maybe side effects would be less since it is only every other week. I don't th...

I found the side effects were getting worse and worse after 8 weeks. I haven't heard about Avonex becoming less efective after 10-12 years. No wonder Newbie's neuro was floored. My experiences with Avonex have been quite positive overall.
