Re: Infidelity because of MS?

Why would you want to be with someone who is only willing to be faithful to you when she's sick? I mean you claim to be a logical person but what you've stated in the aforementioned is illogical. If she's not willing to be faithful and respectful towards you as a partner when she's healthy then what...

Re: Infidelity because of MS?

I'm just going to give it to you straight man since I've been in a similar situation. She's not the one that's trapped you are. This woman knows that you'll do anything for her and you've already proven as much. She feels she can get away with this behavior because she has you hooked, line, and sink...

Re: MS & winning Social Security Disability?? Court on Nov.

Looking for advice. I have a court date finally end of November. Finally! I started this process April 2011. I was denied twice and then filed for a request for hearing. Has anyone been through this nightmare out there? I'm truly unable to work and need this financial assistance. Advice would be gr...

Re: Fecal Microbiota Transplantation - 3 cases

It’s not a treatment. It has been experimented for people with gastrointestinal problem and for people who have also MS, it has create unexpected positiv results. It’s very simple and safe apart that this is disgusting. But there is other less disgusting way to change the gut microbiota (see nutrit...

Re: Rebooting Immune System at Johns Hopkins

merlin, Thanks, I didnt see this category on this forum but it does not look like it is a very active topic. I noticed they were treating "the worst of the worst" ms patients where as Dr. Burt is limiting his patients to RRMS. I can only speculate this may be a cause for the mixed results...

Re: Rebooting Immune System at Johns Hopkins

It looks like Johns Hopkins is working on another approach to reboot the immune system by using a certain chemotherapy drug that destroys immune system cells with the exception of stem cells (no transplant required). http://m.hopkinsmedicine.org/news/media/releases/hicy_drug_regimen_reverses_ms_sym...

Re: 2 Years Post HSCT And MS Still Stopped

I don't intentiontionally mean to be contradictory. Actually all the trials must be externally patient-funded since the trials don't have a funding source (even though approved by the NIH). Dr. Burt's MIST phase III trial currently underway must be funded by either the patients (majority of cases) ...

Re: 2 Years Post HSCT And MS Still Stopped

Thanks for the response George and Asher. I am trying to figure out how to come up with 150k now based on the info you guys supply. I only have 6 k saved up and am brainstorming. I have a tax exempt 501c3 set up now and just trying to figure out how to pit the word out. You guys are always inspirat...

Re: How likely will there be a cure for MS within the next 1

There are no studies completed to back up that claim, CV. In fact, Burt says this-- As there are no completed randomized studies on HSCT for MS, the final results of both randomized trials – MIST, that compares cyclophosphamide/rATG as a second-line therapy for interferon/copaxone failures and the ...

Re: How likely will there be a cure for MS within the next 1

The only present cure or near-term cure (less than 10 years at least) seems to be stem cell treatment with chemo. I'm not sure that I would agree with your opinion on stem cell treatment. A person's immune system is literally wiped and a new immune system introduced with the stem cells. The chemo i...

You've got nothing to lose. According to Joe Rogan's podcast which is sponsored by Alpha Brain the company gives you a 30 day money back guarantee. If you feel that it doesn't do anything for you, you can return it within that time and get your money back.

Re: Article responses on hsct?

According to the article at 15 years only 25% of the original patients continued to be progression free. Those statistics aren't exactly favorable when considering a treatment like this. Chemotherapy is very hard on the body and if i'm going to invest my time, money, and energy into undergoing a tre...

Wow that sucks for me then. I dont have 50,000 euros and I dont think ill ever be in the financial position to be able to pay the 50k euros. Once again people with money win out over those of us that dont as of yet have any. If I sound bitter its because I am. I was diagnosed at 25 the youngest pati...

Re: My CtrlAltDel - Status

I'm curious isn't revimmune pretty much the same thing as this protocol? Only difference being they dont remove your stem cells in revimmune. They just stimulate them with iv drugs to help rebuild your immune system, right? Why would one protocol be more curative than the other? Don't they pretty mu...
