Just an idea from the CpN website but I'll let somebody else (more knowledgeable) explain it.

CpN uses up melatonin and melatonin seems to be important in controlling glutamate ...

Hi, I had my blood tested at http://www.allergy-testing.com/ . The results were that I had increased sensitivity to gluten, lactose, some nuts and some other things. I have eliminated them from my diet (quite cumbersome) but I'm feeling hungry again, a feeling that I couldn't even remember before. M...

Interesting that you have hay fever. Not? My father and sister have it too and my mother has asthma. Mmmm, maybe something in the family. The following link has refrences: http://www.edmsllc.com/research_professional.htm You also find a lot on pubmed, for example: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/...

Hi Sarah,

I was just thinking of your mosquito bites (mainly a histamine H1 reaction) and therefore I was asking myself what you thought about the histamine theory explained on the following link http://www.edmsllc.com/research_layman.htm?

Best wishes

Thank you very much for this post.

She seems to know her stuff. Are there any doctors in the room who can give some feedback on the role of histamine? Does it really do all of that?

BTW My father and sister take anti-histamines for hay fever. Does this connect to something?

Best wishes

Hi,

The use of Amoxicillin as a beta-lactam antibiotic might be explained by the following paper http://www.ncf-net.org/pdf/NCFForumF03.pdf.

Thank you very much for this post.

I find it very interesting since I have just been diagnosed with "leaky gut syndrome", which seems to be the root-cause of all my problems, including MS.

Best wishes.

Hi Sarah, I don't know yet where the poisoning is coming from. Still some research to be done there. However I do think it might play an important role in my MS. Take a look at my posting in general discussion http://www.thisisms.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=865 You could get...

Uric acid and inosine

Hello, There seems to be quite some evidence that uric acid levels in MS patients are lower than in healthy people, leaving us unprotected to oxidants. The following links give some background: - http://www.nationalmssociety.org/Highlights-Antioxidants.asp - http://www.albany.net/~tjc/uric_acid-pero...

Hi Daunted, Sarah, Daunted. Thank you for the links on vitamin D (I wonder why it's called a vitamin when it is really a pre-hormone). They were very interesting and convinced me even more of the importance of this hormone and its profound suppressive effects on our immune system. Now, here is my di...
