Re: Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Thanks all who responded. I am 3 weeks in to a 4 week HBOT treatment. I go M-F for 1 hour a day. It has definitely helped reverse some of my symptoms but none are 100% reversed at this point. But I still have hope that they will. I have met another MS patient at the clinic who has been periodically ...

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Well, I posted this under a different heading and I think it got lost. So I am going to try to post it again here under "general discussion." Has anyone on this board tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy to help heal their symptoms of MS that haven't gone away on their own? I have been doing so...

Re: A doctor with MS balks at using DMD's

I agree with you Harry. I don't discredit MSers for wanting to take these medicines if it is their choice but no doctor has the right to guilt/coerce a patient into using one of the DMD's if the patient does not want to use one.

Re: Look at this article

The article really made me think. I think I need to print it out and highlight sections of it to research because it covered so much info.

A doctor with MS balks at using DMD's

Here's another article to check out about a doctor with MS that balks at using the DMD's her neuro has pushed at her.

Re: Benefits from Abx treatment???

I am allergic to penicillin (but not Zithromax). Will this allergy contradict any of the Abx used for the CAP?

HBOT

Has anyone on this board tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy to help heal their symptoms of MS that haven't gone away on their own? I have been doing some research online and have found that many people, especially in the UK, routinely use HBOT to help their MS symtpoms. It also seems as though HBOT has...

Sarah,
I think you (and your hubby) were smart in finding a solution and going for it. I sent you a PM.

Re: Red meat increases inflammation ... even organic?

I know that red meat is a good source of iron. I have been borderline anemic my whole life. Now that I have cut out red meat my iron numbers are falling even more. I am also gluten-free, dairy-free, legume-free, and I don't eat a lot of eggs. I also do not eat any foods in the mollusk family or any ...

Re: anyone prescribed a.m. LDN ?

If I were you, I would back the dose down to 1.5mg and try again. Most people have more success with starting at a lower dose and then working up to the 4.5mg dose. Either have you doctor write you a new script for the 1.5 or I have heard that you can take the 4.5 capsule and dilute it in 4.5mL of w...
