I get awful flu like symptoms from the avonex but nyquil or something with an antihistamine really seems to help. Renee

My husband is a nurse and does my injections. We alternate between thighs and upper arms. I did it myself twice just to see if i could do it if I had to. I am in my 10th month on Avonex. Renee
