Re: just an FYI

Coolycat, I can certainly understand that feeling of those MS patients in wanting to go back on Tysabri. But until the researchers come up with a scientific answer as to what happened to those two patients and how to avoid a similar situation again, it won't be made available. Harry Harry, Of cours...

just an FYI

I attended an MS retreat this weekend along with my husband. I questioned several people w/MS, on how they felt about Tysabri now. The overwhelming reponse, acutally the only one I received was... I would start back on it tomorrow if it were available or I'm eager for it to come back on the market, ...

"only" one person has died of PML thus far, and we hope that it stays that way. The doctor may have been going off an incorrect (and quickly retracted) AP story that stated the second patient died. We fell for the same trap here when we reported their erroneous story! Aaron, I beli...

Hi Harry, Well, I guess if you saw that one, you saw this reply to the original post, I thought this was quite interesting as well. ------------------------------------------------------- I had heard much the same information about Tysabri from a different source. I hope they are able to identify wh...

I thought this was an interesting post from a member of Braintalk. I hope it's OK to post it here. ------------------------------------------------------------ Here's what I learned last Friday from my neuro. Aside from being one of the country's top MS specialists, he's been conducting one of the c...

....Also, did you see that the second person with PML, has NOT died? That story was retracted. What specifically is your source for this information? Below is my source for info on the 2nd death. http://www.forbes.com/work/feeds/ap/2005/03/04/ap1862899.html http://biz.yahoo.com/ap/050304/ireland_ms...

coolycat, if you're still around... I know a lot of other people feel the same way you do about Tysabri looking so promising, and then being taken away as suddenly as it was released. Angry, frustrated, despondent, suspicious, in denial, whatever ; there are a lot of bad feelings. Regardless, they'...

Oh yes, that was WAY out of line!!!! What about odd duck implying that others enjoy participating in criminal activity? Hmmm. And if saying that odd duck was fussy was soooo out of line, why wasn't it edited? OK, I'd like to stop this grade school bickering here. BTW, saying that Tysabri was ...

Odd Duck, Could you tell me where it is that I launched a personal attack on you? I came here, stated how I felt about Tysabri and I feel I was attacked by you, not the other way around. Even though I don't always agree with Harry, at least he doesn't get his feathers ruffled by opposing views. My g...
