Re: Teva/SharedSolutions assistance program
No problem, and you're welcome. This will make you vent a lot. So don't worry about it. Hope things look better now. I would have been lost without a doctor setting it up for me. See about programs for the uninsured. Or again, see about a public hospital in your area. Good luck!

Re: Muscle spasms
hi coffee, if you can get a serum magnesium test, do. ensure levels minimum 0.90 mmol/L ('normal' range 0.70-1.10 so don't take 'your levels are normal' for an answer) i've posted lots recently on ways to get dietary, lifestyle, and supplemental magnesium. mag is required for the biochemistry of mu...

Re: Copaxone working this soon!
Congratulations! Had the same reaction with Avonex. Waiting to see if Copaxone does the same eventually. About a year and nothing major so far. Just wish Avonex hadn't had the mental side effects. I am just curious about the mental side effects you refer to...can you elaborate some? Sorry for the d...

Re: Mom has MS, now I do...
Sorry to hear. The shots become afterthoughts after a while. I use a little auto-eject device to do the shot. Don't actually see a thing. I do miss the once a week shots of Avonex though. But it wasn't right for my mind. Or maybe my mind just wasn't right. Either way, on Copaxone now. Sorry about th...

Re: Teva/SharedSolutions assistance program
Sorry to hear. Besides continuing to try with them, check to see if there's a public hospital near you that sees a number of patients who are poor or lack insurance. Or just any hospital period, that may have a program set up in their neuro clinic. They may be able to set you up with them again thro...

Re: So Frustrated...and Introduction
Hope things went well. With me, by the time the doctor finished going over all it could be, I felt like I had won something when the spinal tap and MRI caused them to rule it was MS.

Re: Muscle spasms
I know since having a lasting downturn in ms health, I have a low tolerance for frequent lung use (walking, running, talking too long, etc), and spasms come then, so I would imagine the connection exists. But before things got so nutty, I could take physical work with no issues. Hence my sometimes a...
