Gilenya and Airplane travel
Hello all. I am due to start Gilenya at the end of next week. I have been on Copaxone for about 2 years but still seeing a new lesion every few months. Was wondering if anyone has experience traveling on airplanes while on Gilenya. I have to travel internationally every 6-8 weeks (Asia and Latin Ame...

Also I have carried up to 14 needles into many countries in the regions I mentioned and have never been questioned on any occasion.

Re: Going through customs with copaxone
Hello. I travel a lot outside of the US and I have never had a problem with anyone questioning my medication in Asia, Europe or Latin America. I think it is safe to say that most places will not question your needles.

Re: Copaxone and elevated liver enzymes
Update on this post. Elevated liver enzymes went away after a few months.. I cut the fish oils down to 6000 mgs a day. Switching to Tysabri now because of a new lesion found on my neck although brain was stabilized during Copax treatment.

Re: Shattered syringe with Autoject
Hi all. Folowing up on my post from 14 months ago. I did the Copaxone run and after the incident with the shattered syringe it never happened again. Probably due to user error. Would just like to clear that up as I would like to try to be a responsible poster as I leave behind the breadcrumbs that I...

Re: PML Cases Now Reach 486
Hi Harry. I saw your website with the PML numbers for Tysabri patients. Thanks for putting that together. Do you have numbers on JC Virus tested negative patients who got PML? I was told me there were 2 cases in its history but those eventually turned out to be actual positive JCV people in the end....

Shattered syringe with Autoject
Hi, day 4 of Copaxone. Injected into right hip. I pushed the trigger button and fired. Watching the window go down but then I noticed a sharper pain than usual from the 1st three days and then the yellow line stopped moving. I kept it held firmly in my skin for about 30 seconds with no movement. Fin...

Re: New Member looking for natural care advice
Hello all. Thanks so much for all of your great input. Some news on my side. Since we last talked I have had some worsening. My Ulhofts/Puflrich is about the same but the last two days I have had bad vertigo. I feel like I have had too much to drink. My neuro is prescribing me a 3 day steroid course...

Re: New Member looking for natural care advice
Jimmy: Thanks for the zinc / magnesium advice. I read the first page of your regimen page. It seems like I need to have a nutrition blood levels test done, correct? What is the proper test I should ask for? I purchased some zinc and magnesium supplements. Would you recommend those or should I go wit...

Re: New Member looking for natural care advice
Thanks so much for the feedback. I guess that overall it is probably somewhat of a pride issue. You want to be able to say that you can have control over things. My mind is very linear, if I do X then Y happens. If I sleep 5 hours a night or less and am stressed out then I will get MS symptoms or pr...

New Member looking for natural care advice
Hello all. My story started in 2004 with some numbness and tingling in my legs. MRIs at the time showed nothing. Nothing until 2008 when had an episode of vertigo which proved to be caused by nystagmus. Was diagnosed as probable for MS at the time but no lesions seen. Nothing again until 2012 when I...
