Re: MRI Results

Thanks Jimmylegs! I was glad to hear that I had neither. The doctor said that it is possible my lesions may progress to MS typical lesions but for now I'm in the safe!

MRI Results

I finally got my MRI results back after I was hospitalized for inability to urinate and blood in the urine. Turns out I do not have a brain tumor. I do have lesions on my brain but due to their location they can not be diagnosed as MS. I have 9 or less lesions in my white matter (the largest 0.5 cm,...

Re: Still not accepting dx

That's really frightening stuff, that it had onset so quickly. Disappointing that the person didn't help you, some people are just total idiots. I'm new to this forum and honestly don't know much about MS yet, but this forum is fully of highly knowledgable people so I'm positive they'll be able to h...

Thanks Jimmylegs! Thanks MSandI, sadly apparently the ophthalmologist out down that I am considered legally blind, and I did look up provincial departments, if I do end up with MS as my diagnosis I'm not eligible. With having lost my license from hyperthyroidism from fainting, being considered legal...

Re: Hey

Holy frig! That's a lot of x-rays! I had a CT of my abdomen to look for masses and leaks when I couldn't urinate last month.

MRI it is for me then! I don't want any extra radiation than I need after my Radioiodine for the thyroid haha.

Re: Hey

Yes, I just recently got into the habit of obtaining a copy of my results, found it was especially helpful with my Graves, I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis, autoimmune diseases are frequently in my moms side of the family haha. When I was younger, a lot of our diet was wheat and gluten, so it is com...

Re: Hey

Hi Lyndacarol, The one doctor is a friend of my Aunts so I asked for his honest opinion, I wouldn't hold a friend of the family accountable if his guess was wrong, it is after all only a guess of his. I wouldn't usually ask a physicians unofficial opinion because they typically won't give you one, t...

Re: Hey

Yeah, their guesses scared the hell out of me. They had mentioned things such as viruses, bacterial infections they had just said my symptoms aren't typical of bacterial or viral. They didn't mention anything like a stroke, though something similar could very well have happened. They had just given ...

Hey

So I had sort of posted here before when I had a feeling that I may have MS. I didn't post much after, because I hadn't been diagnosed. Well within the last month I suddenly got a black dot in my vision which grew over day and my vision went grey (only in my right eye). Initially I thought it was op...

Re: Family History of MS, Strange Symptoms, but I'm Only 18

Jimmylegs, just wanted to thank you for looking into this for me, it'll be good to know what I can adjust to see if that balances me out! Trust me, when I first started eating right, I was going through sugar and starch withdrawal, which I didn't think really existed .. Now that I'm into it far enou...

Re: Family History of MS, Strange Symptoms, but I'm Only 18

Jimmylegs, I would love to learn more! I may just post it here to see if it can sort of help people who may have similar diets. My mornings are consistent for my meal plan. Breakfast 1 egg, 1/2 a grape fruit, slices of cucumber OR if I want a big breakfast Quinoa with dried cranberries, raisins, fla...

Re: Family History of MS, Strange Symptoms, but I'm Only 18

Hi jimmylegs, Thank you for the welcome. I take daily supplements, of vitamin D, B, C, E, A as well as cod liver oil, fiber (there's a few more, but I don't recall the names.) The doctor said my potassium was low when my physical was done, so she recommended two or three banana's a day. I work out e...

Family History of MS, Strange Symptoms, but I'm Only 18

Okay, so here is my recall of what's been happening lately. I had posted it on another forum, and don't want to spend another hour and a half second guessing whether or not I made sense lol. My family has five or six people with diagnosed MS. I don't know what kind of MS they are however. Recently m...

New to the Forum, hoping to learn more..

Hi there, Well recently I've been kind of concerned about my health and my body and with members of my family worrying, I thought I'd join a forum to learn some real experiences from people who live with MS. The family members concerned, have MS, and said that my symptoms sound worrying so I've come...
