First attack in almost five years

I am just coming out of my first attack in almost five years. I had one episode five years ago, double vision, and that led to a mri and then an 'unofficial' diagnosis (because there was one incident, one sympton). I was hopeful that maybe I was one of the few who would have one isolated incident an...

Yes, I'm still taking it. I think I'd like to try tysabri (for no reason other than it is a recognized treatment that has some documented positive results and of course there are the crabs that have documented results but I don't want to acknowledge this on a daily basis with needles and would prefe...

3 years on ldn

This week marks three-years I have been taking LDN. I took 3mg for most of the time and within the last few months have upped it to 4.5mg. There was no real reason to go to 4.5, I just knew from reading that it was the 'optimal' dosage for females if you could manage it and when I had a few days off...

I am trying to make myself get on my eliptical machine and I've been consistent for almost two weeks but I have noticed that my balance seems worse and my legs are feeling a bit 'off'...does it get worse before it gets better?

Thanks everyone for your responses and insight. In the end I pretty much did nothing, which in itself was a passive decision. I currently have a job with benefits but it is a contract situation and the start-up opportunity is on the horizon in the next few months (but I found out that they now offer...

Dilemma

I've been offered a good job with a large organization that has full benefits, yet I am struggling with the decision whether to accept or not. I also have an opportunity to join a small start up company that I find to be a lot of fun (same kind of work, just different environment). This start up may...

Thanks very much everyone for sharing your stories. It helps to learn that many people are leading relatively 'normal' and uncompromised lives. I like to hear that most people don't fall to the extreme end of the disability scale. I just find it so hard not to worry about what may happen. Its been t...

This is such a great site, so much support, wisdom and feedback. Thanks everyone, I appreciate all the responses and it is good to read about people who are getting along fine. Good point as well that those who are least affected are probably not using this forum. It was a sad thing to see and reali...

Any good news stories? 20+ years and doing ok?

I was out driving today looking for yard sales, craft shops, antiques, etc. and I ended up in a very rural area at a little consignment shop. While I'm in there a woman comes in and there is a man behind her. I don't notice anything until this woman 'stage whispers' to the woman behind the counter t...

I am to the point where I think it is keeping me from living a 'real' life. I think about it constantly, not because I want to, but because I have to, its always there. Its there because I know its there, not necessarily because I'm feeling the effects, but since the day I was told, its been a huge ...

I'm disgusted by Weight Watcher's corporate response and hope she gets them good. It's shocking and appalling that she would be fired for this. I hope there is a lot of media exposure and the result is very bad publicity for Weight Watchers. Shame on them.
