Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi, ha ha! So you thought you got rid of me. :) just kidding. Am still going through batteries of tests but I don't think they suspect ms any more even though I have my suspicions. I had my fasting blood insulin tested after all and it came back a "little flat " according to my gastro, but...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hey sorry have gone offline, am in the middle of blood tests, neurologist testsm cardiologist tests, craziness. So far have found intolerances to rice, corn, wheat, yeast, milk, peanuts, ... And something else I think. Not sure what I will be able to eat... Maybe they will be looking for an overacti...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi emktrx, I have just had blood work and all seems fairly normal, other than magnesium. White blood cell count ok, I believe. Am slimmer now than I used to be, sleeping sort of ok, and not a lot of energy for exercise. Eating and drinking seems to be an issue. Had a urine hormone test today, waitin...

Re: My Drs are baffled
P.s. Lyndacarol, your hypothesis is not too unconventional I have heard this mentioned somewhere before, and jimmy you are correct. I suspect if there are nutrition issues it may be amplifying an existing problem and symptoms. Both of your ideas I have suggested to Drs already to open up more room f...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi Jimmylegs and Lyndacarol, Thank you both for your advice and kind words. I don't mean to put anybody on the spot, in fact I highly suspect you are both correct. I really do appreciate all the thoughts and time you have taken to try to help me, and help point my drs in the right direction. I have ...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hey Lyndacarol,
I just googled one of the meds that the dr is trying on me to see if it helps called endial digest. Says it is prescribed for pancreatic insufficiency... Have you heard anything about this?

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hey Jimmy, Thanks for your feedback. I got my MRI of head back today and they say it looks clean, but am sure about Drs opinion. He is a very good cardiologist but I think he is missing the point when it comes to my other symptoms. I am currently doing a 24 hr urine tiers to check hormones in adrena...

Hi Jimmy, Cool. I will send it in a few minutes...
My liver function tests came back elevated @Lyndacarol, so maybe you were on the right track.
More tests upcoming I think...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi Jimmy, Just got my fresh blood/urine test today and have been self evaluating the results... looks like abnormal liver possibly. :( typically lowish magnesium, etc. but I thought you might be interested to see. I have a pdf if you are interested, but I don't know how to give it to you, don't know...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi Lyndacarol,
Thanks for the feedback. I will mention it to him for sure the next time I see him....
Surprised he would not opt to put the check mark in the blood test form... Was an easy thing to check off, maybe he is just trying to rule things out one by one...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hey Jimmy. So I saw my cardiologist, internist. He checked my blood pressure and my heart.. 118, 132/90. He says my digestive is pushing it up. Told him about the research I had been doing with you all, ( I just said me) and he kind of blew it off. But did go for blood test, and some nutrient levels...

P.s. Does this mean they can look for vitamin deficiencies to help diagnose ms?

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi Jimmy, Thanks for that. I think the first thing the dr will do is a blood test, or just simply refer me straight to the neurologist... My appointment is tomorrow morning, and truthfully am a little nervous to see him, because he likes the non active approach( he prefers non invasive) he tends to ...

Re: My Drs are baffled
Hi NHE, Thanks for the heads up. I have had multiple catscans, xrays (after embolisms), catscan for abdominal problems... theres just no end, and no way to limit the tests if i want to figure out whats wrong? MRI is just as bad? I don't think i've had an adverse effect yet, why do you have to be so ...
