Back to say goodbye

Hi All, Ive been on and off this board for the last 8 months...as with many of you, it is a long road, sometimes years to end up with an MS diagnosis. I have been to numerous doctors, neuro's, naturopaths, chiros, infectious disease docs....the list goes on. MRI's, CAT scans etc.. We have all been t...

Re: Devic's disease

Hiya LC, thanks for your response. B12 has been ruled out. I think that was one of the firsts tests that I had with readings of 465. You are definitely not a nag!! Lol. I would be interested in speaking with someone who has Devic's if you could lead me in the right direction

Devic's disease

Hi All In my quest to figure out what is going on with my health, I have found that each and everyone of us has to be our own advocate for our health. My neuro basically wrote me off after my brain MRI came back normal. Great! Although i feel crappy everyday. I know my story is one of many on here b...

MRI results today

Hi All, I just came back from my follow up with the neuro. She explained that my MRI is clean. She did not see any lesions to indicate MS. My brain is "clean". I know that should make me feel better, and I do, but still doesn't explain these weird symptoms. She is sending me for Lyme test ...

Re: are my syptoms Multiple Sclerosis?

Hi Chad, welcome to the board. I don't have much to offer regarding whether it is MS or not, as I am also undiagnosed. Ive never had the eye issues, other then a bit of light sensitivity. It sounds like you are doing everything you can to get some answers, but it may take a while. Good luck to you! ...

Re: Help with Interpretation of MRI

Hi Jennifer, Wish I could translate that for ya but i think it would take a doctor to do that. The unknown is the worst part, BUT, it seems to me that there is no mention of demyelation, so that's a positive. Again, I am not a doctor and just speculating. Are u feeling any better? Have the symptoms ...

Re: Does white matter on MRI indicate possible MS?

Aww Jennifer, the waiting game sucks doesn't it? I initially had an appoinment to see a neuro on SEPT 30th but got in earlier due to a cancellation. It can be very frustrating. Fingers crossed that you get some answers soon
