Perhaps but how does one even come to the conclusion that red meat "might" increase the risk for developing MS when nobody knows yet what causes the disease in the first place?! You do an epidemiological study. You compare people with ms with a control group without ms and see if you can ...

If red meat caused MS (I mean despite decades of research there still isn't a known cause of MS) then the vast majority of the population would have MS but it doesn't. !
