I think you should wait a while tufty1. Dr Zamboni's currently trying to develop a stent specifically to keep jugular valves open and this would really help with the prevention of restenosis. I got a really bad infection that got progressively worse a few weeks after liberation and I became almost totally paralysed. I've been better for about a week and a half but haven't got all my improvements back. I'm possibly very slightly better than I was pre liberation. It was worth a try though.

I hope it's all been worthwhile EJC. I'm afraid my initial improvements are all just about gone now. I'm due back for another scan in February and I'll see what the score is then. Keep us informed.

I don't understand why they've increased the price of the doppler scan from £450 to £525. There doesn't seem any reason behind it.

Had the CCSVI procedure on November 23rd at the Edinburgh Clinic. Great staff there. Had stenosis left and right and valve problems on left side. Azygous not too bad. No miracles so far but improvements in walking, climbing stairs and lifting feet in general. Haven't experienced any pain in my feet ...

Small, mountainous country. Average temperature in summer 15 C. For the other 51 weeks it's -2 C.

I was scanned on July 8th. No appointment for treatment yet. First veinoplasty procedure is scheduled for 28th October so I'm sure they'll give out dates soon.

As far as I know it's easier and quicker for them to get to the jugulars through the right groin because it's a shorter route for some anatomical reason.

The UK hasn't joined the Euro currency. It's still GB Pounds. They'll probably take Euros at Heathrow airport but the exchange rate might not be that great. Good luck in Bulgaria.
