Burning painful spot keeps coming back
I keep getting this burning painful spot on the top of my head. It will go away a day or 2 then come back. I usually get them in random spots about once a month but this is the first time I've had a pain spot come back in the same spot more than once. And this one has been back several times. Scares...

Not sure what med to choose, after lipoatrophy
I was on Copaxone for 1 year until I just noticed the dents (lipoatrophy) and took myself off of it. My MS is pretty mild and after reading ALL of the possible side effects of the other drugs I'm just not sure any of them are worth it. I know everyone (drug companies) preach the drugs slow the progr...

Re: Copaxone Sting Reduction Technique: A Personal Breakthou
OK I am so glad for this post. My husband gave me a shot in the right leg and it hurt so bad I made him take it out early. It was unbearable. I used ice before and that was a mistake. So 24 hours ago I bought a massager and massaged the left leg for 15 min. Today I used a heating pad on my leg for p...

First injection (manually) ever all by myself. Yeah i did i!
The nurse came over yesterday afternoon and i injected manually in my arm with the left hand (I'm right handed). Yeah i did it! I was very very very nervous but glad that first one is over with. It's definitely overwhelming because how do you know exactly where to put it and what the heck you are do...

Re: Tingling face-diagnosed with MS 5 days ago-booooooooo
No problem. I had to fast for this blood work. The Clinical Pathology Lab in Austin, TX processed it. My results are under the "In Range" part. It says: Test Name, In Range, Reference Range VITAMIN B 12, 543, 250-1100 PG/ML FOLIC ACID, >24.0, >5.0 NG/ML They also ran Hemoglobin A1c, Bun/cr...

Re: Tingling face-diagnosed with MS 5 days ago-booooooooo
Thanks for responding everyone. I am 41 and a female. They did a bunch of blood work and my B-12 came back normal. I do plan to get back to exercising and eating a lot better. I'm just very sad about it but after the holidays are over hopefully it will have time to sink in and I will get myself toge...

Tingling face-diagnosed with MS 5 days ago-booooooooo
I was diagnosed a few days ago. Boo. I started getting these "hot spots" like burning areas in random places that would come and go a few years ago. This year they were more frequent. They would last anywhere from 5 hours to a couple of days. I also had a little tingling in both hands that...

Re: Post lumbar puncture spinal headache
Not yet but I will look into it. Thanks for the info. I did go to the ER for the blood patch Friday and that was a little worse than the LP for sure. My lower back was in a lot of pain and still is. At least my head is feeling better so I'll say it's an improvement. I have just a tiny headache that ...

Re: Post lumbar puncture spinal headache
Update: It's now been 7 full days and i still can not be upright for longer than 18 min without getting a bad headache. Ugh. I want to say it's slightly better because I can now tolerate a pillow or 2 but it's not healing as quickly as it should be. The Dr. said I have to go to the ER for the blood ...

Re: Post lumbar puncture spinal headache
Laying down is ok. Sitting up or standing is bad. Seems the caffeine isn't working as well anymore while standing. I'm going to keep laying flat and hope for the best for tomorrow. Not sure when I'm going to throw in the towel for the blood patch. I'll keep you posted. Thanks for replying.

Post lumbar puncture spinal headache
 Today is Saturday and I had a LP Wednesday and this is awfull!!! The procedure went pretty well but this after stuff is horrible. I made sure to drink a ton of water the days before so the csf would come out fast, which worked. They ended up taking out a little more (14 instead of the 12) and ...
