Re: Pregnant with MS,scared
I agree with the others that everyone is different. I personally felt good/great during my pregnancies but had a terrible relapse after each. This was pre diagnosis so I wasnt on any treatment, are you on anything for your ms?

Re: Tecfidera and Lymphopenia
I was on tecfidera for 9 months but had some tummy trouble and my ms was still unstable. I switched to tysabri and have had no troubles on it (literally no side effects at all so far and ive had 3 infusions). I am jc- so that helped me in my decision to start it. I personally thought the side effect...

WalkAide
Has anyone had success with this system? I have been tried for the bioness l300 but I cannot afford something that pricey (was quoted $9000). I haven't tried the walkaide and am thinking about setting up an apt to try it out, but I already know it has a $5000 self pay price point and there is no way...

Re: Handicap permit
Hello all, I am wondering if it is difficult to obtain a handicap parking permit? I will be starting back at school soon and had trouble last semester having to park far away from the building. I called my specialist to see if she believes I will qualify, but I want to know if anyone else has had l...

I know this isn't adding much to the conversation, but have you had your kidneys tested as a cause for the blood in your urine? I pass blood (visible often) and protein with my urine and after a kidney biopsy was told it was due to a thin basement membrane. Not sure if this info will be helpful, but...

Re: Handicap permit
I suppose I should add that I have a significant foot drop on my left foot as well as left sided weakness. I use a carbon fiber afo at this time and I do walk with an odd gate due to the severity of my foot drop (I walk normally with my R leg, but I sort of "march" with my L leg to bring m...

Re: Anyone on this?
Sorry this is a little late, I was on plegridy for several months but my ms issues were not improving and I was having terrible flu symptoms while on it that would put me down a week at a time. It was nice not having to inject too often and the side effects are similar to other meds in that category...
