I haven’t even considered the driving angle but I think that what you said was smart.
I am not quite to the falling over part but that may be in my future. I have definitely noticed being more and more unsteady.

It’s probably just fear but....
Hi Everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster.... I feel like I have transitioned into the Secondary phase. I have noticed an increase in relapses, every few weeks (where previously, I would go months without much activity). Of course, it could just be a new lesion but I feel like it’s dishearten...

Re: MRI - No GAD mean no MS?
Hi Mandy! For your sake, I hope that they didn't find anything. However, it seems odd that a doctor would give a technician that much decision making authority to determine whether or not you should have contrast (GAD) for your MRI. Regardless, I hope that things go well for you. Most of us know the...

Re: pain
My pain is a burning sensation through my arms, upper back, and through my legs. I also have the hug that constricts anywhere from my heart to around my hips. I also have tingling sensations in my hands, fingers and toes.
It's a great question to ask!

Re: Fatigue and cleaning the house... Any tips?
I used bleach tablets in the toilets so I don't have to scrub them. They last for about 2 months at a time and thus, I am able to justify the expenu.

Re: Weather in Michigan
Forgive me for being tongue in cheek, but my advice would be to move. Of course, I say that affectionately as I have spent a significant amount of time there. #puremichigan
Seriously, being active seems to help me when it is truly cold.

Hi Celeste! You appear to be very anti vaccine...which is fine and we are all entitled to our own opinions. You said that "don't think that your daughter would be like this if she had (had) the flu shot". The "flu shot" is a vaccine. I am just trying to understand your perspectiv...

Re: Overwhelmed with nutritional/vitamin information
I second Scott. Start slowly and figure out what works best for you and your individual needs. There is a plethora of information and misinformation available so be sure to start from knowledge.....perhaps ask your doctor for some blood work to see what specific nutrients in which you are deficient ...

Re: To Work or Not to Work-Quite the Question
Thank you, all, for the insight. MS definitely wasn't a part of the life plan, but I bet you already knew that ;). I need to speak with my new neuro and determine his opinion...I fear that I may not be "lucky" and that I will not be in the RRMS crew or rather that my RRMS phase passed, mos...

Re: To Work or Not to Work-Quite the Question
Thank you both for your insight. My greatest symptoms are unrelenting pain, fatigue, and on some days, cognition and gait issues. I often forget what I am doing/saying and as an educator, that just doesn't jive. I will be starting betaseron soon and will be going to a specialty ms clinic. I fear tha...

To Work or Not to Work-Quite the Question
I have been considering leaving the work force. I manage an education department in a stressful environment and quite frankly, it is taking its toll on me. I have been recently diagnosed and am trying not to jump the proverbial gun, however, I feel like my family doesn't get the best version of me b...

Any recommendations for a good neuro in Charleston, SC?
Does anyone have any good (or bad) recommendations for a neuro in Charleston, SC or the surrounding areas (Columbia, Orangeburg, Aiken, etc)?
