Canadians write a letter to your politician

Brightspot, my husband & I were just talking about writing letters to politicians at lunch today. Right now it seems CCSVI is mostly talked about amongst the MS groups. We need to get more people on board to start pressuring the government to make testing/treatment available.

I thought Dr. Zamboni used the balloon style & stretched the vein & then removed. He would do again if it didn't stay open.

This is just a simple thought, it seems to me that regardless of whether or not a person suffers from MS, (which I do) it can't be a good thing to have hampered blood flow anywhere in our bodies, so it seems to be a no brainer that drs. should be treating this issue. Whether or not it causes MS seem...

Hi, I also suffer from purple & cold feet. If I elevate it gets a little better. My doctor said it was my autonaumic? system dysfunctioning. I guess the blood isn't pumping up as it should. I guess there are a few more of us out there suffering from this. Take care.

swelling in foot

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has experienced swelling of one of their feet? I have been taking LDN for 4 yrs., but have been noticing the last few months that my foot is swollen. I went off the LDN for a week & the ankle was fine, then went back on for a day & swollen again. I...

LDN and weightloss

I probably am eating less, not trying to lose weight though, I just don't do as much during the day as I used to, not as hungry. I've heard from others that LDN may help normalize your metabolism, hence eventual weightloss. I've also heard that it can be a mild diuretic. I don't think this is offici...

LDN and weightloss

Has anyone experienced weightloss while taking LDN? Normally one wouldn't mind losing a few pounds, I just don't want to miss an underlying problem. Thanks

I've read a few places that some people have a problem tolerating 4.5mg of LDN. I'm wondering what part of it they aren't tolerating. I've been taking 4.5mg for about 2 weeks and really don't notice any difference between it and 3mg. What should I stay on? Also, does anyone know anything about using...

I have a lot of stiffness in my leg, I think it contributes greatly to my walking problem. I guess its spasticity, I've tried Baclofen and Zanaflex without any luck. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I look forward to any ideas.

Hi Matilda, I haven't had any improvements in walking as of yet. I just increased my dosage to 4.5mg three days ago, so I'll see what happens.

Hi JoyceF,

I'm from B.C. Canada and am using a local compounding pharmacy. He says it's fast release and he uses avicil for filler. I don't know, I just feel like I'm getting worse in terms of walking. I don't want to quit so soon, but I'm not feeling as good as the first week.

Thanks for the help. I've been a bit hesitant about trying 4.5mg as I've heard it can increase spasticity, which is a problem for me. I've never been on interferons as I've never met the critiria for one reason or another. I'm SPMS for about 5 yrs and have been going it alone. My GP has prescribed t...

Questions from a new LDN user

Hi everyone, just looking for a little info. I started taking LDN 3 weeks ago, 3mg. In the first 5 days I noticed numbness in my hands and feet fading. It was great I could actually feel with my left hand. :) In the last week though I've noticed the numbness creeping back in the hands and feet. Is t...
