Manfred,

I was interested in reading about your experience with LDN, but

Daunted and Sarah, As always, thank you for your very informative responses. So many considerations , so many questions. I guess I just need to bite the bullet, get off the fence and go for it. I think my first course of action will be to attempt to find someone local who will be willing to embark o...

Sarah, I have been throwing a question around in my head for a while now and wasn't sure where to post it , so I decided to find your most recent post and pose my question here which seems appropriate considering that you were just addressing side effects of your antibiotic regimen. Are the side eff...

ljm and Arcee,

Thanks for the great info. I think I will start with 2 of my pills a day which is 1500 mg. I will be most interested to see what your holistic physician has to say about dosing Arcee.

N-Acetylcysteine

I was wondering how many people are taking NAC ? I read the story on this drug a week or so ago and have purchased this. What would be a suitable dose? Any reasons not to take this?
Thanks,

Lisa,

I guess I just completely missed the iu/microgram equivalent. Thanks for pointing that out to me.

Dignan,

Thanks for the article . The bottom line is that the upper limit for vitamin D is 50 micrograms for adults. Perhaps I didn't read closely enough, but what is the international unit equivalent of 50 micrograms?

NHE Thanks for your input. Fortunately I had not started taking the grapeseed extract yet. I am taking the omega 3 fish oil and 800 mg of vitamin D, but am a little hesitant to take large doses such as the frequently mentioned 4000 iu vitamin D until I can get some reassurance that there is no risk ...

No posts on this thread for a couple weeks. Just a quick question. If I remember correctly vitamins A, D, E, & K are the fat soluble vitamins which means they would tend to accumulate in the body . Is it safe to take 4000 international units of Vitamin D without following serum levels? Is there ...

I wish I had kept a journal over the years recording the dates of my many but mild exacerbations and what was going on in my life at the time so I could see if they fit any kind of pattern. For the past several weeks I have been in the throws of another exacerbation, probably the worst to date invol...

Sarah, I just realized that I had neglected to thank you for your last reply. I really do appreciate your taking time to answer my questions. I would probably have no problem making the trip to California or wherever required, but am still weighing options at this point. Of course we have only so ma...

This really does sound encouraging. I admit to not having an in-depth understanding of all the various drugs in clinical trials, but I'm wondering if the mode of action of Tovaxin isn't similar enough to Tysabri that the same PML problem might be a risk with the Tovaxin as well. Or am I just complet...

Kalawalla ?

Has anyone ever heard of an herbal remedy called polypodium leucotomos, brand name Kalawalla. I stumbled upon an internet ad claiming that the substance is a natural immune regulator that helps control rogue T cells and that it has been used in Europe for 10 years or so in the treatment of MS and ot...
