Re: Considering Tysabri - questions...

I did well on it except for some HTN ( Hypertension) but I was taken off this drug due to testing postive for the JV Virus.
I liked being on a once a month treatment. At the time my insurance was great and everything was covered. Was very upset when they took me off it.

Re: If I Could Do it Over

Laura...thank you for sharing this. I fight this monster daily and sometimes I fight it too hard where I wear myself out more than I already am out of fear of what this monster will eventually do to me. Thank you for posting this. Thank you so much. ( Hugs)

Re: Anyone with standing, laying, sitting issues?

Thanks Music I use heating pads that I rotate from hips. upper legs and then literally sitting on one. For example today...I went to the store real quick. 10 mins into my shopping trip I literally felt that bone/burning pain in my lower legs an knees radiating up to my upper legs. I had to find some...

Re: Husband is not supportive whatsoever

I agree with maybe bringing him to a good doctor that can explain it all to him. Very sad that he is not supportive but I wonder if maybe he's fearful of it and what it's doing to you. Sometimes fear has a way of making people act terrible. I was dx in 2008 ( I'm a Nurse, married to a Marine) and he...

Re: MS has changed me

I know how you feel. MS has completely changed my life. Sometimes I look in the mirror and can't believe it...I just can't believe any of it but I fight it daily..I guess because I'm just not one to quit but it's hard, very hard and I have alot of those moments of just being so sick to death of this...

I responded to everyone in one message. Does that notify everyone or did I do it incorrectly? Thanks

Re: Anyone with standing, laying, sitting issues?

Hi Everyone. Thanks for the responses. To: Froggie - Yes, I had that type of MRI. Nothing shows up on that in terms of anything that would cause this. I'm really having a tough time. Cooking has become terrible and I miss being able to stand and cook. I have to take constant breaks or my hubby will ...

Re: Surprising Gabapentin Side Effects

This drug made me sick. They gave me too much too soon and I was terribly sick. I'll never touch it again. On a good note..it's a great med for dogs. My dog is on it with Tramadol for her arthritis and it works great.

Anyone with standing, laying, sitting issues?

I seem to have terrible problems with sitting more than 20 mins, trouble laying down for more than maybe an hour and standing I can only tolerate about 15-20 mins. I have pain in my upper legs/hips and knees something terrible. If we are in the grocery store I'm actually leaning over the cart to tak...

Re: Possible MS Hug - do I call the Neuro?

Could there be anything else going on? Do you notice more pain on the right side or right upper quad? It could be a gallbladder issue but I would still have it checked out.

Hi Scott1 Yes and being a Nurse that has been to both war zones added to the "could have caught something". I was tested up the yazoooo 10 times over. They initially thought I had some funky virus as I became very ill after my last deployment but then they all collectively decieded that I ...
